I liked this judge overall. She didn't rush the judging process. However, I was confused by her choices. Her Best of Breed was a very young, immature dog, still slender and of a completely different style from her OS. I can only guess that she realized elevating 2 class dogs to B and OS may not go over well, even though they seemed more similar to each other.

Nice choices in big entry of miniature schnauzers. Owner/handlers and professionals alike. Would show again. Update: looks to be, if she has a nice black bitch in her ring... That would be her choice.

Just love to show dogs to her, win or lose. She has tremendous breed specific knowledge in Sporting breeds, goes over the dogs correctly and seriously considers what she is doing.

very disappointing. Dog would not stand for inspection she gave him 1st place, 2nd dog snap at her she gave reserve winners, I guess if you are a member of the Cary Kennel club you are guaranteed to do good under her.

Rewarded faces in Terriers today including a reserve to a bitch with a serious gaiting problem in Scotties over several very nice class bitches DNS way to political

have shown to her before with another of my breeds and was very impressed with her judging. Won one time, not the other. Just showed my hound to her. Again very impressed. This time we got a major and BOS over a nice special. In my opinion, she has to see type and movement and will forgive handling errors and less than top showmanship from the dog if she likes the type and the dog moves well. In another update: showed a herding breed to her rather than hound. We got a win but I was not impressed with the judging. Either she likes something far different in this herding breed than I or politics was in the air. Will continue showing hounds to her but not the herding breed.

Proved her lack of knowledge other than who the pros were again today. Choices were inconsistent . Looks for faces and favors.

I followed her choices and couldn't disagree. Will put up color and doesn't seem influenced by PH on the lead. Will give her another entry in future.

Was pleasant. Seemed to evaluate dogs. Put up class tri bitch for BOB with handler over a nice owner handled blue special and a tri dog for BOS over nice sable.

Showed Min Dachshunds to her at IKC Feb 2012. Made good choices, I could see she wants the "total picture". Pleasant and efficient...I'll enter under her again, Especially with my Smooths

really knows collie heads and expression and evaluates accordingly.

Very good Beagle judge. I have had no problem understanding her choices when I have observed her judging. Will drive to show to her!

Perfectly pleasant, nice with the dogs. I've heard that she won't put up natural-tailed dogs in another breed. I do know that she didn't give my natural-tailed bitch a second look in a small & very weak Terrier group, this a dog that got a Group 4 at Atlanta Terrier Show the next week.

Apparently has not a clue that a dwarf breed should NOT have a terrier front - does not know good movement - seems to be impressed only by flashy, not true breed type.

I posted previously. Truth to judges not knowing the same dog twice, or a truth to what they really like? Took the same dog to her for a small show, 2 points. Was not even placed in an open dog class of 5! Hmmmmm go figure.... He looked no different.

Pleasant in the ring. Looked at movement. Didn't look at the face at the end of the lead
Apr 19, 20095CelebrateGoldens
Very pleasant in the ring...was able to pick out 3 of 4 placements that were from the same breeder. So she obviously knows what type she is looking for. Seemed to like movement and expresssion.

Did a straight forward job judging goldens. Loves toplines. We took WD/BOW for a 4 pt major, and she commented on how he was the only dog in the ring that held his own topline. Commented how important it was. Loved movement and headpieces as well.

Did a very poor job in this breed. No concept of the breed type.

Loves a "typey" Vizsla, elegant clean outline. Will put up the Vizsla in better condition, which is OK. Does love a pretty head. Will show to again.

Pleasant enough to show to. Appears to be actually comparing all of her entries, but by her procedure it is not really clear that she has picked out the best ones upon first glance, although her results are understandable. Seems to give the owner handlers a fair break, even though she was a professional handler herself for many years.
May 9, 20075Shetland Sheepdog
so so judge, can be political in this breed. Goes for head and picture.
Mar 6, 20074White OaksWestiesExpert!
We have shown under her twice. She is very considerate in the ring, and goes over dogs very carefully. However, she put to BOB an over-aggressive top ranked Westie special who broke the lead, attacked the other special (a top 10 dog in 2006) in the ring, and when that other dog was picked up by his handler, he bit that handler (withoutdrawing blood). Nonetheless, we will show under her again because generally she does seem to know what she is doing in conformation.
Dec 15, 20061AnonymousSetters
This fall I saw her do a terrible job in Juniors and put up two cripples one with sickle hocks that could barely get around the ring. I will never show to her again Showed to her again in Setters and still feel that she does not do a very good job in Setters....At this show she felt daring and decided to put up puppies in many breeds even if they did not get around the ring on all fours!!!
