If you watch the same breed on different days during a cluster, she will not put up the "expected dog" to win, not sure if she is trying to prove a point, or putting up faces she likes

May not smile allot but she knows what she likes. Agreed with her choices.

A very business like judge who seemed to just be doing a job. It may be her personality but it did not appear that she enjoyed what she was doing. Her judging was fair and consistent for medium sized dogs with good movement. I felt she judged the dogs not the handler.

As the other poster said, she never smiles and is constantly frowning. This past weekend she put up handlers over nicer owner handled dogs. Her WD did not have a correct rear and looked lame in the front. Her WB looked like a dog. She is not someone I would go out of my way to show to.

If you are looking for a happy, friendly judge, then Mrs. Holloway will NOT be your cup of tea. She doesn't smile or appear to enjoy judging at all. She literally is frowning the entire time (and I watched her for the breed before mine and she was the same); however, that being said - she had a clear ring procedure, but is soft spoken and puts up dogs with a beautiful profile and smooth movement.I think she leans towards putting up males for BOB. I can't say if she leans towards handlers as we only had one in the ring today and she did get WB/BOW (very deserving). I would show to her again without a problem, but go in knowing she's not a "joy" to show to - it's all business.

On my DNS list after watching her give everything to the best known faces in the ring 3 shows in a row. Showed zero understanding of what a quality dog was in my breed and would put handlers over competent owner/handlers with very nice quality dogs, even if the handler's dog was untrained, out of condition and not ready to win, and not even nice to boot. Put a very average quality bitch (the type you keep at home to breed!) with a big name handler breed over a highly awarded dog special with a less known owner/handler much to the horror of everyone watching... the third time she came around in my area I saved my money and stayed home, and instead just showed the following day--when everyone demanded to know why I had not warned them to save their money too!

Very slow judging, but found all the right dogs/bitches. Couldn't disagree with any of her placements.
